Most guitars sold in 2007, the award goes to Dick Mooney from Renton Washington who sold 26. This collection of guitars was from Dick's late friend Jimmy Pepper who passed away September 2006. Jimmy and Dick were close friends from the age of 12. Jimmy loved to collect guitars and was a life long guitarist. Hats off to Dick who is helping Jimmy's family liquidate the collection. Each year the Guitar Show features guitar giveaways, door prizes, & special guests!

At the 2007 Show we were honored to have Don Wilson from the legendary group “The Ventures” (www.theventures.com).  He and his son Tim were presenting their new Ventures guitar line (www.wilsonguitarventures.com) at the show and gave one away to a very happy winner!

In addition we were excited to have back again, Jay Roberts (son of legendary guitarist Howard Roberts) and staff to promote RMI (Roberts Music Institute) (www.RobertsMusicInstitute.com) which is now open and accepting students! By far the most advanced learning environment for accelerated instruction in the Northwest. Here you could meet Jay and hear him play, he is incredible!   Don Mock who is also an instructor at RMI was not be able to attend this year but check out his Guitar Axis website (www.guitaraxis.com), which is loaded with useful guitar instruction along with one of the best resources of learning information. Prizes and drawings included, Guitar Maniacs gave away a NEW Gibson Epiphone SG guitar with P-90 pickups!  The Ventures /Wilson Bros.  gave away an incredible VENTURES guitar ! ADK microphones gave away an ADK A-51s Large Diaphragm Class -A studio condenser microphone with shock mount! etc. Plus there were drawings for music books, Jimi Hendrix, Stones books, and awesome "History of the Guitar" books with beautiful full color photos of your favorite vintage and new guitars and interesting facts! Plus many more drawings!
